In the most beautiful gardens of the world art and nature seem to merge naturally. Ernst Veen, former head of ‘the New Church’ and the Hermitage Museum of Amsterdam, realizes a lifelong dream in creating this 6 part series Gardens of Wonder, by crossing the globe in search of impressive estates full of spectacular art.

In a quest through the South of France, Italy, Norway, the United States, Brazil and New Zealand, Ernst Veen finds out what’s the story behind these estates. These are places where art-loving, wealthy individuals have integrated art and nature into an extraordinary ‘tableau’, often created in cooperation with renowned artists.
